Private boat trips to the seal colony

The boat, the skipper and the guide to yourselves. Up to 6 guests, swimming or watching in any mix.

Your own boat for the morning

A private trip is the same route and the same colony, with nobody on board but your group and the crew. It takes up to 6 guests. Some can snorkel while others watch, and the pace is yours.

People book it for families with young children, milestone birthdays, proposals, and photographers who want time to work without a full boat. The crew also takes researchers and students out to the colony.

The private boat costs R10 995 for the whole boat, whether you are two people or 6. With a full boat that works out at about R1 835 each. Send us the day, the number of swimmers and the number of viewers and we will confirm a launch time.

What is different on a private trip

  • Only your group

Up to 6 guests. Nobody you do not know.

  • Flexible in the water

Nervous swimmers get one-to-one time with the guide. Confident ones get more room.

  • Same kit, same safety

Wetsuits, masks, fins, life jackets, a guide in the water and photos, as on every trip.

  • Times by arrangement

We fit private launches around the daily 10:00, 12:00, 14:00 departures, weather permitting.
